Lowered my EFC and Student Loan Amounts

One of the things that was very helpful for the university was with the college financial planning services that my parents hired. My parents contacted them while I was still in high school. They wanted to minimize the amount that I was going to pay in loans. As a result, they were able to lower my EFC in order to qualify me for more need-based aid. I was very thankful that my student loan burden would be a lot smaller thanks to them.
